Concerns:

  • Both lines: if they develop, the team can be very good because they have good skill players

Recruiting:

  • Gunnels is a 1-AA prospect
  • Lonergan is being looked at by 1-A schools as a long snapper
  • Hoag is a D3 prospect
  • Others can play D3 if they have good season
  • Underclassmen:
  • Moyer has 1-AA potential
  • Gooden is D2 material

Coach’s Comments:

“The schedule is going to be a challenge. We think we have good skill players and a returning quarterback in Riley Gunnels. The biggest issue is both lines – we graduated a lot. How soon we develop them will be a big key.” – Head Coach Kevin Smith
