  • Were unfairly excluded from the playoffs with a 7-1 record   
  • Scored 277 points – 27.7 average

Offense:

Quarterback:  

  • Dustin Desher, Senior, 6-1, 225 – 4-year starter

Running Back:  

  • RJ Moten, Senior, 6-1, 210 – 4-year starter  
  • Eren Ibas, Senior, 5-10, 180 – will spell Moten 
  • Zac Palmer-Smith, Sophomore, 5-11, 190 – will spell Moten 

Wide Receiver:  

  • Jack Benson, Senior, 6-1, 190 – returning starter 
  • Miekel House, Senior, 6-0 180 – will start, played, and started on defense 
  • Kenny Fletcher, Sophomore, 6-4, 210 – will play as third wide receiver 
  • Nyon Barnes, Senior, 6-1, 190 – played and started on defense 
  • Paul Ginty, Senior, 5-11, 180 – will be in the mix; Holy Cross transfer

Tight End:  

  • Troy Wells, Senior, 6-1, 215 – 3-year starter

Center:  

  • Jason Holmes, Junior, 5-11, 215 – Holy Cross transfer who started 

Guard:  

  • Ryan Tamres, Junior, 6-0, 225 – returning starter
  • Sean Theis, Senior, 6-0, 245 – returning starter

Tackle:  

  • Gavin Moore, Junior, 6-1, 245 – returning starter moving from center 
  • Sam Brogan, Senior, 5-11, 250 – competing at other tackle 
  • Silas Ferreira, Senior, 5-11, 240 – competing at other tackle 

Defense:  

  • Formation: 4-2-5 
  • Returning Starters: 6 

End:  

  • Ahmed Johnson, Senior, 6-3, 215 – returning starter
  • Kenny Fletcher, Sophomore – will start 

Tackle: 

  • Sean Theis, Senior – will start 
  • Silas Ferreira, Senior – will start 
  • Ayo Alarapeon, Senior, 5-11, 210 – will rotate 

Inside Linebacker:

Concerns: 

  • Staying healthy – the bright side is they had 50-60 players at every workout 

Recruiting:  

  • Moten has 20 offers and narrowed it to Rutgers, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Kentucky
  • House has interest from Rutgers and Temple 
  • Benson has Ivy and other high-academic interest
  • Desher, Wells, and Barnes have D2 interest 
  • Johnson is only in his second year of playing football; very raw and talented  
  • Ibas had a good junior season in a part-time role, averaging 9-yard-per-carry 
  • Theis is a D3 prospect 
  • Ginty is a D2/D3 prospect
  • Underclassmen:
  • Holmes has D2/D3 ability 
  • Sophomore Fletcher is a 1-AA prospect with 1-A potential 
  • Sophomore Palmer-Smith is  D2 prospect
