Concerns:

  • Lack of experience, but the talent and athleticism is there. There is also more size on the line than the last two years.

Recruiting:

  • Burton has many offers, including Ivy, Patriot, and CAA schools
  • McAllister has an offer from Stonehill
  • Mac verballed to Sacred Heart for lacrosse
  • Others are high academic players from 1-AA to D3
  • Underclassmen:
  • McClain has many offers, including Rutgers, Penn State, Syracuse Georgia, Boston College, and Michigan
  • There is talent, but it is unproven

Coach’s Comments:

“Top to bottom, this is the most athletic team we have had. But we’re inexperienced and a lot of spots must be filled. From August 27 until the end of the season, I expect a lot of improvement.” – Head Coach Bill Fitzgerald
