Concerns:

  • How the team meshes with one less week in the preseason – players and coaches have to step up
  • Tough schedule

Recruiting:

  • Jackson and Rogers are 1-AA/D2
  • Kiritsis is anywhere from 1-AA to D3
  • Ayscue is D2/D3
  • Others are D3 prospects
  • Underclassmen:
  • Jashon and Javon Dye hold a Syracuse offer and will be 1-AA/1-A-Power 5 guys with both being sound football players
  • Tyrell and Rex are both young for their grade and their junior years will give us a better idea

Coach’s Comments:

“The schedule is competitive with every team having the ability to make the playoffs. We have 25 seniors on the team and the juniors are also experienced. We’ll be competitive and it’s about putting things together.” – Head Coach Matt Demarest
