Concerns:

• Expecting a lot from junior class when they are essentially sophomores after last year’s cancelled season 

Recruiting:  

• Andrews and Gonzalez are scholarship players, but in this COVID era, that may or may not be the case. Both lost their junior year, but they are part of the 1,200-lb. Club in the weightroom and they have an “it” factor, according to Head Coach Kevin Freeman 

Coach’s Comments:  

“We have 42 kids out, including three freshmen and we have no freshmen team. Only nine players have been to a varsity camp and three have varsity experience. We’ve been working on fundamentals. It’s a senior-laden team with a chip on their shoulder and we look forward to playing.” – Head Coach Kevin Freeman
