2017 In Review: The Chargers were 10-1, losing to Delsea in the South Jersey Group 3 semi-finals after beating Seneca. They scored 455 points for a 41.36 average, while allowing 209 for a 19.0 average. Wins included Delsea, Cherokee, Williamstown, and Eastern.

Offense: Timber Creek runs the spread and return five starters. Quarterback is a three-way race among senior Justin Jefferson (6-1, 185), senior Tymir Ayers (5-10, 175), and freshman Donovan Leary (6-1, 175). Running back has three who are competing: seniors Clarence Henderson (5-11, 210), Ray French (5-10, 185), and TreVon Alderman (5-9, 160).
Back at receiver are junior Tarheeb Still (6-0, 170) in the slot and senior Jayvin Little (5-10, 175) at wide receiver. Paired with Still in the slot is either Ayers or sophomore Elijah Williams (5-10, 160), while junior Justin Houston (6-1, 190) will be at wide receiver. When a tight end is used, it will be seniors Emory Moore (6-1, 195) and Tim Schultice (6-3, 220).
Three starters return to the line with senior Daeshaun Polk (6-2, 260) and sophomore CJ Miller (6-1, 270) at the tackles and junior Cameron Sheard (5-10, 210) at center. The guards are senior Tyrone Burroughs (5-8, 290) and junior Charles Pierce (6-0, 270), with sophomore Jaron Danford (5-10, 230) in the running.
Defense: The Chargers run a 4-2-5 and return seven starters. Polk and Miller return at the tackles and senior Stefaun Corley (6-2, 215) is back at end. The opposite end will be senior Diomari Gordon (6-2, 195), with Moore and sophomore Anthony Williams (6-3, 205) getting time. Rotating in at tackle will be Burroughs, Pierce, and senior Vincent Pilla (5-9, 195).
Linebacker returns Henderson, French, and senior Vance Carr (5-10, 195) and outside linebacker has senior Jihad Stephenson (5-11, 185) back, plus junior Arturo Merola (5-11, 175) will also play.
Little returns at safety and he will be paired with senior Knyle Wood (6-1, 185), while the corners will be Alderman and sophomore Roderick Boyd (5-10, 160).
Special Teams: Sophomore Zach Coluccio returns as the kicker and punter.

Recruits: Little verballed to Wagner, while Henderson, Stephenson, and Polk have 1-AA interest.
The junior class has Still with offers from Rutgers, North Carolina, Boston College, Temple, and others. Houston is another 1-A recruit. The sophomores have Miller with a Baylor offer and the freshman Leary will be a major prospect.
Concerns: Braking in a new quarterback.
