  • Mickens had 1-AA interest before tearing ACL 
  • Crawford is drawing Ivy/NESCAC interest 
  • Weisman has a Bentley offer and NESCAC interest 
  • Chamberlain has 1-AA attention, specifically the Ivy League 
  • Underclassmen:
  • Ferrogine has 1-AA interest 
  • Laughlin will probably be at a high-academic school, including the Ivy League 
  • Sophomore Carpenter has top potential with both parents playing basketball at Hofstra 

Coach’s Comments:  

“I like our defense and we have three offensive linemen returning. Our quarterback also returns and we will have to adjust for the loss of Makai Mickens being out with a knee injury. The kids, including Mickens, have been very positive and we’re looking forward to the season.” – Head Coach Dave Schuman
