Concerns: 

  • Replacing the production of quarterback Prince Dru-Bey 
  • Youth, but getting more mature by the day 

Recruiting:  

  • Hughes is a D2/D3 candidate 
  • Lewis has only played football for two years and his best football may be ahead of him 
  • Reed was All-Conference and has hopes of a big year, a D2/D3 type 
  • Young is undersized, but physically strong and has good instincts and leadership  
  • Underclassmen: 
  • Cheek has nine offers, including Rutgers, Temple, Penn State, Virginia, Maryland, and Baylor 
  • Brown is drawing Power-5, lower 1-A, and 1-AA interest
