  • Jermaine Tillery, Sophomore, 5-8, 170 – competing

  • Jazzir Merricks, Senior, 6-1, 195 – returning starter in the slot; will be moved around
  • Lavar Funderburg, Senior, 6-1, 180 – projected starter
  • Kazir Brown, Junior, 6-2, 195 – projected starter, started on defense

“We have a good group of veterans that I feel good about. We don’t expect to have as many growing pains as last year. This is a very disciplined group and we can see the leadership they have.
