  • Shenk and sophomore Mike Abel are competing at both kicker and punter

Concerns:   

  • Depth on both lines; hopefully the young players can provide the remedy 

Recruiting:  

  • Stephens, Duell, Chambers, McCutcheon, Forella, and DeFelice all range from 1-AA to D3, depending on their senior year 
  • Underclassmen:
  • Young will be at a high-academic school, where depends on his junior year 
  • East is an outstanding athlete with good grades 
  • Bellamy is a sophomore with offers from Rutgers, West Virginia, Michigan State, UMass, and others

“We are further ahead than where we were last year – a better nucleus with more experience. Our schedule is tough, especially the first three games. We look forward to competing, especially against some of the Shore’s best.” – Head Coach Joe Martucci
