Recruiting:  

  • Willock has offers from Rutgers, Penn State, Boston College, Georgia, and Georgia Tech 
  • Diaz verballed to Delaware State 
  • Lindo has offers from Delaware State and Morehead State 
  • Kennedy has a Delaware State offer 
  • Weeks has interest from Kent State and Toledo 
  • Morales is a raw product who has interest from Delaware State and Morehead State 
  • Ely George has potential, but not much film and may receive more interest later this year
  • Underclassmen:
  • Nowell has offers from Syracuse and UMass, with more to follow 
  • Entwistle has offers from Rutgers and Kansas 
  • Jarred George impressed at Notre Dame’s camp and should be invited next year 
  • Brooks has both 1-A and 1-AA interest 
  • Mitchell has interest and offers are likely to come 
  • Bah is similar to Ely George: lack of film, but interest should pick up 

Coach’s Comments:  

“We’ll be much better than last year and have many starters returning. We had nine seniors last year: five who played. There was a lot of inexperience and with our schedule, it’s very difficult. The sophomores are now juniors; they paid the price, expect to be better, and our games will be more competitive.” – Head Coach John Whitehead
