2017 In Review:  The Tigers were 8-4, losing to Delsea in the South Jersey Group 3 final after beating Lakewood and Deptford.  They scored 397 points for a 33.08 average, while allowing 216 for an 18.0 average, including two shutouts.  Wins included Moorestown, Highland Regional, and Bishop Eustace, while their other losses were to Delsea, Camden, and Willingboro.

Graduation Losses:  TE/DE Travon King – Temple, WR/LB Jairo Ramos – Salisbury Prep (Md.), RB/CB Hydir Moore – Kean, DB Nazir Bacon – Kean, OL Tyrell Wilson – Rowan, LB Suliman Shakir – Rowan, OL Shatese Shields – LA Pierce JC (Cal.), DB Enelio Pena – Shepherd (WV), DE Mutar Lawrence – Hudson Valley JC (NY)

Offense:  Woodrow Wilson runs a multiple spread and returns six starters.  Senior Nick Kargman (6-4, 180) returns at quarterback and junior Muheem McCargo (5-11, 210) is back at running back.  Also expected to get carries is senior Jahdir White (5-8, 170).

The receivers return seniors Stanley King (6-5, 215) at wide receiver and Fadil Diggs (6-5, 235) at tight end.  The other wide receivers are senior Jose Irene (5-9, 170), senior Cherry Hill West transfer Naiem Simmons (5-10, 180), and junior Malik Harvey (6-2, 185).  Juniors Naziq Murray (5-7, 150) and Jasmere Hobbs (6-3, 170) will also be in the mix.

The line returns two starters in senior guard Chase Little (6-3, 270) and senior center Roland Carrera (5-10, 245).  The tackles will be senior Cherry Hill West transfer Miles Frazier (6-5, 280) and junior Malachi Townsend (6-6, 285).  The other guard position is wide open.

Defense:  The Tigers run a multiple 4-3 and return three starters.  Diggs is back at one end, with Frazier playing opposite him.  Little and Correa will be the tackles and several others will rotate in along the line.

McCargo is back as an outside linebacker and junior Kenny Davis (6-2, 200) will play the other side.  Junior Zihon Hendrickson (5-11, 190) will be in the middle.

King returns at quarterback and Harvey will man the opposite corner with Simmons rotating in.  The safeties will be senior Dante Heard (5-11, 180) and sophomore Elijah Lopez (5-9, 175), while junior Quamir Lewis (6-2, 165) will also see time.

Special Teams:  Harvey returns at punter and will add kicker to his duties.  Lewis, Lopez, and Simmons will be the return men.

Recruits:  King has fifteen offers and recently narrowed it down to five: Rutgers, Virginia, Louisville, Maryland, and Toledo.  Kargman has an offer from Rutgers and has plenty of 1-A and 1-AA interest.  Frazier has offers from Albany, Morgan State, Delaware State, and Stetson.  Little and Simmons are 1-AA prospects and Irene is D2.

Among juniors, McCargo and Diggs will be 1-A prospects and Harvey, Murray, and Hobbs have a chance to be recognized this year.

Concerns:  Inexperience at positions with those who have not played varsity.
