Concerns:

  • Replacing Chris Gioia, who was very productive. No one person will replace him, but young kids can step up.
  • Small senior class with only three players, but some of the young players are experienced

Recruiting:

  • No seniors are being recruited
  • Underclassmen:
  • 1-AA schools are recruiting Diaz and Waddell
  • Balchan will be anywhere from 1-AA to D3
  • Weber, a sophomore, has the height and frame, with interest from Rutgers, Syracuse, Monmouth, and Villanova

Coach’s Comments:

“We have a great group of kids who work hard. Maturity and toughness will be an issue with a small senior class. Young kids will be in key spots, and how do they handle things mentally? We are excited, and we can be as good as last year, maybe even better.” – Head Coach Steve Dunn
