The Top 5 won their games, the Top 8 won 7, and the Top 15 won 10. Remember, I do not penalize a public school when they lose to a good Catholic school.  17-9

1 – Winslow (12-0) – Big wins came against St. Augustine, Millville, Shawnee, Camden, and Mainland. They have outscored opponents, 511-80 with four shutouts.
2 – Toms River North (12-0) – Big wins came against Rancocas Valley, Kingsway, Brick Memorial, Point Pleasant Boro, Southern, Toms River South, and Downingtown East (Pa.). Opponents have been outscored 459-86 with five shutouts.
3 – Millville (9-2)* – Their two losses are against top-ranked Winslow and St. Augustine. Quality wins include Holy Spirit, Brick Memorial, Atlantic City, Mainland, and Marlboro. They outscored the opposition, 418-116 with two shutouts.
4 – Union City (10-1)* – Their lone loss is to St. Peter’s Prep, 42-18. Since then they have outscored their opponents 459-65 with five shutouts. Wins include Passaic Tech, Bayonne, Northern Highlands, and Irvington.
5 – Phillipsburg (10-1) – Their lone loss was to Ridge, 28-21. They have outscored their opponents, 391-154 with three shutouts. Wins include Northern Highlands, St. Joe’s (Metuchen), Hillsborough, West Orange, and Westfield. 
6 – Somerville (12-0) – Quality wins are against Hillsborough, Ocean City, Cranford, Rahway, Summit, and Watchung Hills. They have outscored opponents 415-84 and have three shutouts.
7 – Washington Township (10-2) – They lost to Millville and Rancocas Valley. Quality wins came against Atlantic City, Kingsway, Pennsauken, Northern Highlands, and Timber Creek. The team outscored its opponents 294-153 with two shutouts.
8 – Pascack Valley (10-1) – Their one loss was to Northern Highlands. Quality wins came against Old Tappan, Rancocas Valley, Westwood, River Dell (twice), and Montville and they have outscored their opponents, 360-120 with three shutouts.
9 – Old Tappan (10-1) – Pascack Valley handed them their first loss last week. Quality wins are against West Essex (twice), River Dell, Ramapo, Northern Highlands, Wayne Hills, and Cranford. They have outscored opponents, 350 to 112, with three shutouts.
10 – Mainland (9-3)* – Their losses are against Winslow, St. Augustine, and Millville. Quality wins are against Atlantic City, Ocean City, Seneca, Holmdel, and Cherokee. They have outscored the opposition, 347-187 with three shutouts.
11 –  Ramapo (8-3) – Their losses are to Old Tappan, Ridgewood, and 10-0 Somers (NY). Quality wins are against Morris Knolls, Passaic Tech, Ridge, Northern Highlands, and Wayne Valley. They scored 336 points and allowed 265. Credit is due for rebounding from a 0-3 start.
12 – East Orange (9-2) – Their losses were to West Orange and Montclair. Quality wins came against West Orange and Ridgewood. They scored 273 points and allowed 97 points with three shutouts. 
13 – Morris Knolls (10-1) – Their only loss was to Ramapo. Quality wins include West Morris, Mount Olive (twice), and West Essex. They have outscored the opposition, 380-175.
14 – Rancocas Valley (9-3) – Losses were to Toms River North, Pascack Valley, and Camden, while quality wins came against St. Augustine, Washington Township, Hillsborough, and Shawnee. They have outscored the opposition, 390-244.
15 – Brick Memorial (9-3) – Losses were to Millville, Toms River North, and Point Pleasant Boro. Quality wins came against Donovan Catholic, Southern, Allentown, and Toms River South. They outscored the opposition 357-205 with three shutouts.
16 – Passaic Tech (9-3) – Losses were to Union City, Ramapo, and Irvington. Quality wins came against West Orange and Ridgewood while outsourcing their opponents, 316-168 with three shutouts.
17 – Atlantic City (8-3) – Their losses were in their first two games against Mainland and Millville. Since then, they have beaten quality teams, such as Cedar Creek, Ocean City, Cherokee (twice), Vineland, and Eastern. They have outscored the opposition, 309-215.
18 – West Essex (8-3) – Their losses came against Old Tappan (twice) and Morris Knolls and quality wins were against Passaic Valley, Hanover Park, Caldwell, and Wayne Hills. They have scored 263 points and allowed 171 with two shutouts.
19 – West Orange (8-3) – Their losses were to Phillipsburg, East Orange, and Wayne Valley – by one touchdown each. Quality wins were against East Orange, Irvington, and Piscataway. They have scored 346 points and allowed 126, including four shutouts.
20 – Northern Highlands (6-5) – Their losses were to Phillipsburg, Union City, Washington Township, Old Tappan, and Ramapo: all regional finalists and sectional champions. Quality wins include Woodbridge, Pasack Valley (another sectional finalist), Ridgewood, and Wayne Valley. They scored 222 points and allowed 145 with two shutouts. They have been without 3-year starter Nate Johnson at quarterback for much of the year.
21 – Woodbridge (10-1) – Their loss came last week to Northern Highlands. Quality wins include St. Joe’s (Metuchen), Plainfield, Old Bridge, Summit, and Watchung Hills (twice). Their opponents have been outscored, 343-223.
22 – Ridge (8-2)* – Their losses were to St. Joe’s (Metuchen) and Ramapo. Wins include Phillipsburg, Hillsborough, Rahway, and Westfield. They have outscored the opposition, 352-161.
23 – Shawnee (8-4) – Their losses were to Winslow, Camden, Rancocas Valley, and Cherokee. Quality wins include Pennsauken and Middletown North. They scored 269 points and allowed 231. River Dell (8-4) – Losses came to Old Tappan, Pascack Valley (twice), and Westwood. Quality wins were against Mendham and Passaic Valley. They scored 330 points and allowed 211, including four shutouts.
24 – River Dell (8-4) – Losses came to Old Tappan, Pascack Valley (twice), and Westwood. Quality wins were against Mendham and Passaic Valley. They scored 330 points and allowed 211, including four shutouts.
25 – Seneca (8-4)* – Losses came against Mainland, Hopewell Valley, Paul VI, and Williamstown. Quality wins were against Hopewell Valley, Timber Creek, Willingboro, and Haddonfield. They scored 266 points and allowed 197.
26 – Delsea (4-7) – Their losses are to Somerville, Washington Township, Millville, Holy Spirit, Mainland, Kingsway, and Woodstown. Wins include Burlington Township, Cedar Creek, and Timber Creek. They have scored 173 and allowed 198.
