  • Lost to Rumson-Fair Haven in the South Jersey Group 2 semifinals after beating Delaware Valley 
  • Wins included Middle Township, Moorestown, and Vineland 
  • Losses were to Mainland, Cedar Creek, and Atlantic City 
  • Scored 170 points for a 15.45 average 
  • Allowed 167 points for a 15.18 average, including two shutouts

Wide Receiver: 

  • Zicri Forest, Junior, 6-0, 160 – returning starter 
  • Asad Hunt, Senior, 5-11, 185 – returning starter 
  • Nasir Mahmoud, Senior, 5-10, 170; projected starter; St. Joe’s (Hammonton) transfer 
  • Emir Chambers, Senior, 5-9, 160 – projected starter 
  • Jamad Davis, Senior, 5-10, 175 – part of the rotation; St. Joe’s (Hammonton) transfer

  • Sean Torres, Junior, 5-11, 210 – returning starter at end 
  • Aiden Oldfield, Junior, 6-3-½, 205 – projected starter at tackle

  • Tauheed Williams, Senior, 5-11, 175 – returning starter 
  • Jaleel Williams, Sophomore, 6-1, 190 – projected starter

  • Zicri Forest, Junior, 6-0, 160 – returning starter at free safety 
  • Nasir Mahmoud, Senior, 5-10, 170; projected starter at “bully’” strong safety 
  • Tahmir Muhammad, Senior, 5-11, 175 – returning starter and competing at “bully” 
  • Jamad Davis, Senior, 5-10, 175 – projected starter at “pit,” a hybrid defensive back/linebacker

Concerns: 

  • Inexperienced at some of the line positions, but they feel good about the guys competing 

Recruiting: 

  • Mahmoud verballed to William & Mary 
  • Hunt has 1-AA interest, including Stony Brook 
  • Chambers and Lee have interest from D3 schools 
  • Other seniors may end up playing on the D3 level 
  • Underclassmen:
  • Forest has general interest to date 
  • Oldfield has the size to draw some interest 
  • Torres is a very good high school football player with size questions 
  • In the sophomore class, Jaleel Williams is receiving Power 5 interest

“We’re excited and installing new things on offense> the defense was sound last year and should continue to play a physical style. We want to get going. We made the second round of the playoffs last year and we want to compete for a championship.” – Head Coach Michael Forest
