Concerns: 

  • Quarterback – it will be hard to replace Weber’s 31 touchdown passes and only one interception; the team is experienced, but they will need consistency under center 

Recruiting: 

  • Ward verballed to North Carolina and recently picked up an offer from Alabama
  • Scheibe has Ivy/Patriot interest 
  • Goumas and Cerulli have D3 interest and could also play baseball 
  • McGill and Chris Lora are D3/D2 possibilities
  • Underclassmen: 
  • Gioia is a top athlete and the best player on the basketball and baseball teams 
  • Nick Lora will play somewhere 

Coach’s Comments: 

“We have a lot of experience back with high expectations. We are hoping to find a quarterback to do what is needed to go in the right direction. We are looking to find a way to get over the hump after losing in the sectional final the last two years.” – Head Coach Steve Dunn
