  • Won New Jersey Group 3 championship by beating West Essex 
  • Won South Jersey Group 3 regional championship by beating Camden 
  • Won South Jersey Group 3 sectional championship by beating Seneca in the finals, Manasquan in the semifinals, and Burlington Township in the quarterfinals 
  • Wins included Cedar Creek, Kingsway, and Ocean City 
  • Their lone loss was to Winslow 

Graduation: 

  • OL/DL Tyler Habersham-Agbemu – New Hampshire 
  • RB/DB Wayne Adair – Marist (NY) 
  • DB Xavier Wyatt – Rowan 
  • OL Jake Phelan – Deerfield Academy (Mass. prep)

  • Jimmy Reardon, Senior, 6-1, 185 – competing

  • Dan Russo, Senior, 6-1, 220 – returning starter; rushed for 1,673 yards and 26 touchdowns per nj.com  
  • Joel Anderson, Senior, 6-0, 200 – returning starter who was injured much of 2023 
  • Alex Grippo, Senior, 5-10, 200 – projected starter; saw action and started on defense 
  • Adrien Sheppard, Sophomore, 5-10, 175 – competing 
  • Running backs will be used in a variety of positions around the field 

Wide Receiver: 

  • Eric Grant, Senior, 5-10, 270 – projected starter 
  • Jake Fry, Senior, 6-0, 170 – competing 
  • Quincy Matthews, Junior, 5-11, 170 – competing 
  • Tristan Kelley, Senior, 5-10, 175 – competing 

Tight End: 

  • Jonathan Harris, Senior, 6-0, 225 – returning starter 

Offensive Line: 

  • All positions are wide open after all five starters graduated  

Defense: 

  • Formation: Multiple 4-3

Defensive Line: 

  • Joel Anderson, Senior, 6-0, 200 – returning starter at end who was injured much of 2023 
  • Jonathan Harris, Senior, 6-0, 225 – returning starter at end 
  • Riley Boos, Senior, 5-10, 180 – part of the end rotation 
  • Jose Berrios, Senior, 5-10, 230 – competing at tackle 
  • Zion John, Sophomore, 6-0, 240 – competing at tackle 
  • CJ Six, Senior, 5-10, 180 – competing at tackle 

Linebacker: 

  • Dan Russo, Senior, 6-1, 220 – returning starter on inside 
  • Alex Grippo, Senior, 5-10, 200 – returning starter on inside 
  • Milo Gebhard, Sophomore, 5-10, 170 – competing on the outside 

Secondary:

Concerns: 

  • The offensive line will be brand new with five first-year starters 
  • Depth, especially with the schedule they have 

Recruiting: 

  • Russo verballed to U Penn 
  • Harris has a Rutgers offer in track & field, the sport h will likely choose 
  • Grippo may go the wrestling route 
  • The others may go D3 
  • The underclassmen will be determined in the future

“We have an entirely new coaching staff and a difficult schedule. We graduated many good seniors, but we have good players returning. We have cautious optimism and we will see what we can do.” – Head Coach Jason Volpe
